An enhancement of the ITAM Group which was implemented into the standard of the open source project allows the client now to send relevant data of the software assets to the licence server of the OfficeASSET suite. For this, the ITAM Group has developed its very own transfer service, which sends the data directly into a local or central instance. On the customer’s side there are no kinds of installations of the client required. It only requires to be executed during the login to gather the licence utilizations. Another process allows for the data to be automatically sent to the responsible software asset management system to be checked and compared with the software catalogue.
